  3. The Jerry & Edna Taylor $25K Alumni Challenge – please help us raise $25,000 or more!
To encourage 250 or more SLCC alumni to give, SLCC alumnus and gracious donor, Jerry Taylor, has challenged his fellow alumni to participate during Giving Day. A challenge gift of $25,000 from Jerry and Edna Taylor will be unlocked when 250 alumni donate.

Jerry first attended SLCC’s forerunner, the Salt Lake Trade Technical Institute, after serving three years in the U.S. Army. Jerry's apprenticeship at SLCC set the foundation for his career as an electrician. He continued to rely on SLCC for many great hires, including office staff, who further helped him find success as a contractor. Jerry learned the quality of the people he met at SLCC played a crucial role in his success. Now, Jerry is challenging at least 250 fellow alumni to give back to the school that helped them, in whatever way they can.

To ensure your gift gets counted toward the challenge, select "Alumni" in the affiliation drop down field on the donation form.

  4. Bruin Emergency Fund Challenge - please help us support SLCC students facing unforeseen financial emergencies!

This new fund will provide emergency financial assistance to engineering students facing unforeseen short-term financial crises that could delay or prevent their graduation. The gift to establish Victor’s Finish Line fund of $10,000 will be unlocked once 50 people have donated to the Bruin Emergency Fund.
